This Privacy Policy describes how Harwell Home Improvements, LLC, doing business as Interiors by Angie (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies when you visit https://www.floorsbyangie.com, request a quote or appointment, meet with us in your home or at our showroom, hire us for flooring installation or related home-improvement work, apply for project financing through a form on our site, or opt in to our SMS program or other calls, emails, or texts.

Protecting your privacy is our priority. Our SMS program is written to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Campaign Registry requirements, and CTIA Best Practices.

The rules for using the website and for opting in to texts are in our Terms and Conditions at https://www.floorsbyangie.com/terms. This Policy is about information. If the two documents overlap on SMS, the Terms control the program rules and this Policy controls how we handle the data.

1. Who we are

Harwell Home Improvements, LLC, doing business as Interiors by Angie, is an interior remodeling company based in Appleton, Wisconsin. We install luxury vinyl plank (LVP), vinyl, laminate, hardwood, carpet, tile, and related flooring, bath and kitchen products for Wisconsin homeowners, including the Fox Valley, Green Bay, Wausau, Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding communities.

We are the business that decides why and how personal information described in this Policy is processed. Vendors who only handle data for us (our CRM, texting platform, email tool, payment processor, hosting company) do that work on our instructions.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. Name, billing and job-site address, email address, and phone number. Project details such as rooms, measurements, photos you send or that we take with your permission, product preferences, and notes from a design visit or in-home consultation. Financing information you choose to submit on a form. Records of your consent to be contacted, including the timestamp, the method (website checkbox, verbal, paper, or email), and the words you agreed to. Contract, warranty, and payment information if you hire us.

Information from your device and our website. IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, date and time of visits, and approximate location derived from IP. If we use cookies, pixels, or similar tools, they help the site function, remember a form in progress, measure traffic, and understand which ads or pages led you to us.

Information from messages. Delivery status, whether a text was opened or replied to, and response keywords such as STOP and HELP.

Information from others. A spouse or co-owner who is on the job, a lender or manufacturer if you ask us to involve them, publicly available records that relate to the property, and our vendors when they return technical logs.

We do not require a phone number to submit a general website inquiry. If you want texts, you opt in separately.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

Respond to quote requests and questions, and schedule in-home consultations, estimates, measurements, and installations.

Prepare estimates, contracts, change orders, and warranties, and to perform and follow up on flooring work.

Send job-status updates and other messages about an existing or upcoming job.

Send marketing messages you opted into, including offers on flooring products and installation.

Process payment, collections, and financing paperwork you request.

Operate, secure, and improve the website and our internal process.

Keep records required by law, including consent records and records under Wisconsin home-improvement rules (Wis. Admin. Code ch. ATCP 110), and protect the company in a dispute.

If you opt into SMS, we also use that information to send SMS messages (notifications, updates, reminders, marketing, and job status) per your opt-in preferences; to demonstrate regulatory compliance; and to improve messaging and measure engagement.

4. Text messages — data practices

The program rules (what we send, how often, how to opt in and opt out) are in Section 5 of the Terms and Conditions. This section is only about the data.

We collect the mobile number you provide, the consent record, and message interaction data. One-to-one consent applies: your opt-in is consent to receive messages from Harwell Home Improvements, LLC, doing business as Interiors by Angie only. We do not share that consent with third parties or affiliates unless you expressly agree. Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Other companies will not text you under our name.

We store opt-in and opt-out records in our CRM, including the date, time, method, and the language you agreed to.

5. Cookies and similar tools

The website may use cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work (for example, to submit a form). Others help us see which pages are used and whether an advertisement brought you to the site. You can block cookies in your browser. If you do, some form features may not work. We do not sell the information these tools collect.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow a vendor to use your number to market that vendor’s own products.

We may share information with:

Service providers who help us operate — website hosting, our CRM, texting platforms, email tools, payment processors, and similar vendors — and only so they can do work for us.

A manufacturer, installer, or lender you ask us to involve in your project. They do not send texts under our name.

Professional advisers, insurers, or a court or agency when the law requires it or to defend a claim.

A buyer or successor if we sell or reorganize the business, in which case this Policy will still apply until you are told otherwise.

7. Do Not Call

National Do Not Call Registry protections apply to SMS. We honor existing DNC registrations unless you expressly opt in. A Registry listing does not block texts or calls if you later give consent for that number. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in the Terms.

8. Retention and security

We keep personal information and consent records in our CRM for as long as needed for the job, our records, warranties, tax and legal retention periods, and then delete or de-identify them when we no longer need them. Consent records are kept long enough to show what you agreed to if a question later arises.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is completely secure. If we believe a breach affects your information in a way the law requires us to report, we will notify you as required, including under Wisconsin’s breach-notification statute, Wis. Stat. § 134.98.

9. Your choices

You may ask us to correct your contact information, stop marketing emails, stop texts, or tell you what we have on file. Email Contact@floorsbyangie.com, call (920) 853-2050, or write us at the address above. Text STOP to end marketing texts. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to appeal our response. Wisconsin does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute that grants a separate statutory list of those rights. Wisconsin does have a data-breach notification law (Wis. Stat. § 134.98) and a common-law / statutory right of privacy (Wis. Stat. § 995.50). If a law in your state applies, send the request to Contact@floorsbyangie.com and we will handle it as that law requires. We may need to verify who you are before we complete the request.

10. Children

Our website, flooring services, and messages are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child gave us information, contact Contact@floorsbyangie.com.

11. Links and other sites

The website may link to lenders, manufacturers, map tools, or social media. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before you give them information.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy as laws evolve. Material changes will be communicated by SMS or on our website. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
